Luigi has been nominated as “Outstanding reviewers for Green Chemistry” by the RSC

Luigi is a Member of the “Ad Hoc Working Group on Tools and Approaches to Support Decision-Making on the Substitution of Harmful Chemicals” a joining action of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) that holds the presidency.

DCBB has been funded for 8.7 Meuros within the program “Dipartimenti di Eccellenza 2018-2022” with the project “AMIS – A Molecular Integrated approach towards Sustainability” within this project Luigi Vaccaro with Green S.O.C. will lead the creation of the new laboratory “FASST – Flow Assisted Synthetic Sustainable Technologies”

Congratulations to Chiara who just defended her PhD thesis with a excellent presentation of her work

November 2016, Lorenzo and Federica started the PhD course at Green SOC, good luck !!!
In celebration of Peer-Review Week, Luigi has been selected among the top 10 reviewers in 2016 by the editor of Green Chemistry for his significant contribution to the journal.

Considering our reserach field and the preminent role of this journal in the development of Green Chemistry, this recognition is particularly appreciated.
H-CCAT project has been fully financed by EU Commision within the call NMBP 01-2016: Novel hybrid materials for heterogeneous catalysis. Among the many activities, Green SOC will be leading WP3 on “Catalytic Testing and Design of New Catalytic Sites”.
